R&R Rig Service, LLC (R&R) was formed in May of 2004 in order to better accommodate the ever increasing demand for rig servicing in the oil and gas industries throughout the Rocky Mountain region. R&R was a merging venture between Ferris Welding, LLC, owned and operated by Ray Sternberg and Woodward Welding, owned and operated by Randy Woodward. Due to the merge of two highly respected mobile operations in the oil and gas fields, clients formerly of Ferris Welding and Woodward Welding were pleased to continue working with R&R in confidence. It is through this earned confidence that R&R has experienced such rapid growth. Our clients continually recommend our services to others due to their satisfaction with the superior product and service that R&R provides.
R&R originally focused on the welding aspects of rig servicing and has since expanded capabilities. R&R purchased CC&T, Inc., a well known trucking company in 2006 and then in 2007 purchased Majors Equipment, a very successful Butler Building general contractor. In January, 2009 R&R made the decision to expand farther by adding to their fleet and pursuing the hauling and erection of wind turbines throughout the Western United States. R&R operates an OSHA compliant shop, certified in various areas of rig servicing, welding, mechanic services, gas buster rentals, trucking services and crane operations.
R&R is operated under the co-ownership of Ray Sternberg and Randy Woodward and managed by a highly qualified team including a full time safety manager. The operating and management team has 160 years of combined experience in their respective areas. This extensive background provides key contacts in each department as well as an ease of operations that enables R&R to provide exceptional, competitive and timely service to our clients.
